I BET NOBODY EXPECTED G GUNDAM FROM ME TODAY OR EVER AGAIN HAHAHAH.

I honestly didn't even want to rewrite this fic. I was fully intending to rewrite a completely different story, but this one was small and, I felt, manageable. I actually ended up having fun rewriting it.

The original felt rather childish and dreamy, which suited Marie Louise (as she was in the anime, anyway) but I got the distinct impression the original story was meant to take place some years after the canon so made an effort to change the prose so it didn't sound quite so silly. I wouldn't dare take away from Marie's romantic nature, though, so I still tried to weave in that desire she has to just be swept off her feet (while mixing in a bit of maturity for fun).

This was the last story I ever wrote for G Gundam, too. I believe 2008 was the last time I completely rewatched the series. (Wow, it's been 100 years.)
